Joe D' Mango

Last November 22, 2011 saw the return of Joe D' Mango's Loves Notes, one of the most enduring brands in the Philippine market, on DZMM Radyo Patrol 630. The show will be airing twice a week, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 MN to 4:00 AM and will be livestreamed on DZMM and shown on Channel 26 and on TFC (The Filipino Channel).

Long time fans of the show can expect the inspirational messages and advice segments we’ve all come to know and love but wait…there’s more!

Joe will be introducing new segments to his show such as artful “Radyo Komiks” which I will be involved with. I’ve worked with Joe before, helping bring to life some of his most memorable stories on the printed page some years ago for Sterling Publishing and now we’re back together for “Radyo Komiks”.

The segment will feature upcoming creators and veteran comic book artists (courtesy of the Philippine Comics Art Museum by Gerry Alanguilan), love songs with artworks, and Philippine Comic Book related news. We will be introducing and experimenting with more stuff in the coming months so I hope you guys do tune in and check the show out.

This is an excellent opportunity to introduce the Philippine Comic Book Community to a bigger audience (comic book peeps, we will be talking real soon) and I’m very excited to be working again with Joe D’ Mango.
